Privacy Policy
Wildland Exchange separates public marketplace information from private company, personnel, credential, inspection, financial, and field-operation records.
Information collected
The service stores account and company details, resource and personnel profiles, messages, job and incident activity, uploaded records, subscription status, and security audit events needed to operate the exchange. The MVP does not request Social Security numbers, bank-account information, payment-card numbers, or unrelated identity documents.
How information is used
Information is used to authenticate users, manage company memberships, publish selected marketplace profiles, coordinate work, document readiness and compliance, provide subscribed features, protect the service, and investigate errors or misuse.
Public and private information
Only information deliberately published through a marketplace or directory profile is public. Company records and uploads are private by default. They are available only to authorized company members, specifically authorized field participants, administrators performing support or security duties, or recipients selected through an audited sharing workflow.
Cookies and security logs
Essential session and security cookies keep users signed in and protect forms. Security logs record limited operational details such as request identifiers, route names, response status, and timing. Logs must not intentionally include passwords, document contents, or URL query values.
Retention and backups
Records are retained while needed for the account, active work, legal obligations, dispute handling, security, or verified backups. Deleted information may remain in protected backups until that backup generation expires. Restore and administrative access are restricted and audited.
Your choices
Authorized users can review and correct account, company, resource, personnel, and marketplace information in the service. Requests to export or delete information are subject to company ownership, active-work, audit, financial, legal-retention, and safety requirements.
Staging notice
This deployment is a synthetic-data staging service. Do not upload real company, personnel, incident, credential, financial, or customer records. The policy and retention schedule require legal review before production launch.
