Resource type is not found

The resource picker searches canonical USFS, CAL FIRE, module, transport, and support types.

This guide applies when

  • Search returns no resource type.
  • I cannot find the exact equipment category.

What to do

  1. 1

    Search by agency name, abbreviation, equipment name, and type number.

  2. 2

    Choose the canonical resource first; agency-specific profiles are configured after the unit is added.

  3. 3

    Do not choose a similar type merely to continue; report a genuinely missing catalog entry.
